A Little Bit of Catching Up

Hi Lovelies!

I owe you a week of posting, I know! I'm so sorry! Starting Tuesday, I was already out for our team building with my office mates at the Lake Hotel, Tagaytay and guess who won?? Our team!!! Yaay! I must say, the whole trip was really fun, and the hotel service? Superb! I totally recommend this place to all you guys who would like to have their convention or office outing outside the metro. For more information, you may checkout their facebook page. :)

Right after my team building with my office mates, my family and I went straight to the cemetery to visit our relatives who passed away. It really is very comforting to see all your family coming together to remind one another of how important a family is for each and every one. Do agree with me? Hope this goes with you guys too!

So, what really made last weekend epic? Well, I went hiking for the very first time (Weeee!!!) Honestly speaking, it was very tiring! I never imagined myself hiking for almost 6 hours straight and riding a 4x4 for a total of 2 hours back and forth. But when I finally saw the heart of Mt. Pinatubo, I was awestruck by its beauty. The loooong trip going there was totally worth it. I even went for a swim on the 200 ft. deep crater and no, the water isn't hot..it's actually so cold! Epic weekend, indeed! For all you guys out there who would like to try this one out, I highly suggest that you bring food, water and some extra clothes on your way. There's no store around the area where you can buy food. And if there is, its really quite overpriced.

With all the good vibes coming, I managed to put up this really perky ensemble for work. I used my newly discovered blazer from the SM outlet store and paired it with a pastel colored shirt. Its amazing that mint green and coral with a touch of neutrals really sealed the deal. So, what do you guys think?

Have you seen my new accessories? Yes, these are two different necklaces which I layered to put more accent. I honestly love it! Have you guys tried putting layers of accessories too?

As for my look, I settled for something neutral to match my colorful top. This is my typical make up since I can pretty much do away with it in any occasion. :)

Many thanks to Ms. Toni Ignacio for taking these lovely photos

I really wish I'd do some more firsts in the coming days since we are down to a few more weeks before actually saying bye bye to 2012. How about you, what are your last minute 2012 wishlist? Let me know!

Have a fantastic week ahead, Loves!

Silk on a Lazy Day

Hi Lovelies,

Hope you're all having an awesome week. Here's what I wore yesterday, something comfy that is fit for another lazy Monday. I dunno if its just me or is it really the after effect of the weekend that really got me wearing this outfit. But anyways, I think something neutral is a good start of another fun week at the office. :)

The smartest move in this outfit I think was the necklace, don't you think? Hahaha! Obviously, I was really THAT lazy to think of something to wear that day. But, do you have those days where you'd just want a chill outfit? Just a steady wear to start the busy week ahead. Do you? Let me know! :)

Happy Tuesday!

Diva Day Out

Hi Lovelies,

I was out with my office mates to attend an event from Dashing Diva. It was actually kind of a perfect timing since I wasn't feeling very well and a spa treatment would really help me to get through the week (Yup! I'm a drama queen like that! Haha!)

While both my office mates chose to have the spoiled diva pedicure, I chose to do the spolied diva manicure. For an office girl like me who loves to wear closed shoes, I prefer giving accent to my fingernails which is more visible than my toenails. ;)

What I really love about the whole spoiled diva manicure session was the hand micro-dermabrasion. Believe it or not, its actually my first time to see this device being used for the hands and feet! Hahaha! As expected, after all the hand pampering experience, my arms and hands are very soft to touch - and I love it! Definitely a perfect treat for a diva. :)

Here is a photo of me (while I'm getting my diva-ish nails done) with Jel and Den - my two kikay office mates who invited me to this event. Thank you girls!

Bonding moments with the beauty bloggers is definitely one of my favorite! I'd get to know a lot of things from skincare products to makeups just by hanging out with them. Aacck! I so love their geekiness!

L-R: Martha, Liz, Me, and Tara

We didn't go home empty handed! Look! Goodies from Beauty Bar! I'm so happy to have my favorit burt's bees lip balm. I am officially one happy kid! :)

How about you loves, do you have your favorite hand/foot pamper session? Or do you have your home spa secrets you'd like to share? Let me know!

Cheers to a happy week ahead, Loves! :)

Somethin' New and Fresh

Hi Lovelies!

How's the weekend with you guys? Mine's totally epic! I went to La Union to have my first ever surfing with my friends and it.was.F-U-N! Here is a photo of us after surfing. :)

After having all that fun under the sun, I've noticed that my hair got really dry and frizzy. In short, my long and curly hair is dying. So, I quickly asked my senior for an advice and luckily, she will be dropping by her stylist at Hairshaft salon over at The Podium. So she tagged me along with her hoping that I can still do something with this hair of mine.

Can you see the difference? It took the whole of my courage to make this very sudden decision but I know I had to do it. Yes Ladies, I've finally decided to cut my hair short. It feels so liberating to see myself accepting this big change, but look at what it got me? Something new and fresh. This was really something out of the box for me. I mean, I've had my share of short haircuts, but this one is really the shortest that I have ever been so far, and I am loving every single bit of it. What do you guys think?

So Today, I decided to make an outfit post dedicated to how I feel right now. I chose a pastel color for my top to portray the girly and happy vibes and paired it with my old F21 skirt to match the whole thing. I just love how my hair became the greatest accent to this look! Polished yet edgy - that's how I call it.

Top:  Apple & Eve (old)
Skirt: F21 (old)

 Tassel Necklace: Anagon Store
Silver and Black Necklace (Gifted from Jakarta)
Ring: Green Hills Bazaar
Shoes: SM Department Store

Have you had something new and fresh lately that you would like to share? I'd love to hear them! :)

Happy Tuesday, Loves!

I'm Madeline

Hi Lovelies,

Yesterday is really such a rainy day and I just want to share you guys what I'm wearing. I've been eyeing on my favorite dress which I wore in my previous post here and contemplating on ways where I can maximize its use. And finally! Today, I was able to discover one. can you guess what I did? :)

I always have a thing for dresses and how I can revamp the look into something new, so here I am playing with my favorite key hole dress from Dorothy Perkins and thought of tucking it on my black cache cache jeans and voila! my own version of peplum top. Actually, the jacket was really meant for the rains and the cold weather but I just can't resist the oomph it gives to the look! What do you think?

Top: Dorothy Perkins (Old)
Jacket: Mossimo (Thrifted)
Pants: Cache Cache
Heels: Asian Vogue (Gifted)

I actually feel like I'm Madeline for a day. I guess that's because of the jacket, even my office mate thought I was aiming for that look. Haha! I'm so glad that my re-vamped dress is a yay - another discovery. Don't you just like it when you can make use of your outfit in many ways? How about you, have you done something like this lately? :)

Belt: Dorothy Perkins (Old)
Watch: French Connection (Gifted form Jakarta)

Here I am again trying to pose for the last time! hahaha! I love my key hole dress!

Many thanks to Toni Ignacio for taking these lovely photos

Meanwhile, I have been extremely crushing on these lovely lip colors of Guerlain Shine Automatique that apparently has 12 ultra shine colors that you can choose from! Why do I love them? Aside from the awesome signature one-hand packaging, look at the crystal shine texture of this baby! Oh I am just so into this!
