Eight Weeks Of Chirstmas

Hi Lovelies,

Merry Christmas! Well, I'm a bit off from the calendar this year, huh. But isn't Christmas just all out fun and exciting!?! I've been in thought, not that I'm capable of doing lots of those, but once in awhile when something hits, you've just got to give it a go, right?! So here at NYOBQ, let's spice things up before Christmas Day and incorporate a bit of sharing and caring by spreading some love and joy!

Are you with me? Great! Read on!

I've been secretly keeping something from you, but all with good intentions :)  I've been stashing rings, hehehe - the arty kind ones! Can I be forgiven? You better do cause I've been saving my allowance for the next couple of months on these, hahaha, just kidding! Okay, let's move on cause I'm sure your all worked up and excited! Don't worry, the feeling's mutual!

In the past, I've featured these rings as one of my afternoon crush which are totally to die for, as can be seen in my previous post here! Seeing how much I love them, I was happy when someone from abroad was able to spot them for me, and being the greatest stalker of all time (your getting to know me much better now, hahaha!), purchased them for you and me!

So this is going to be an exciting giveaway where in the next 8 weeks (starting today), one reader will be selected to receive an inspired arty ring (colors available: coral (red), turquoise (blue) and onyx (black), for reference please refer to the picture on the left). You will not be able to choose the color, but I hope you can trust me when I say that they are all beautiful and can blend well with any of your outfits.

So I hope you don't mind if we now move on to that part where we can share a bit of joy and love.  As you all probably know, I'm all about sharing, caring and positivity, and I truly try to implement it here over my blog's site. I hope you've noticed, cause if not, then we have a problem, haha. Well, I made it part of the mandatory entry for you to leave on the comment board  how you intend (in your own special way) to spread joy and love this coming Christmas! It doesn't have to be anything grand or over the top, just something short and sweet to inspire others to probably work on their way to spreading some joy and love as well!

So let's move on to the mechanics, shall we!

  2. Nice rings! By the way, I had my driving lessons today. Just so you know, I live in Sucat. Now, (i know you might find this as a very weird comment...hehe!) Anyways, my driving school has a photo shop right next door. While adjusting my mirrors, I saw a glimpse of their model---- YOU! Your face was in their sample 1x1, 2x2, etc! I never had the chance to check out that photo shop but I'm hoping you know it. I was saying, "hey, I know that girl." LOL!

  12. After my son's 1st birthday, we decided to continue our giving gifts to the orphanage near our place. So this will be the second Christmas that we're going to donate gifts including toys, clothes and food to those children living there. We also spread the joy and love of Christmas by going to church for Simbang Gabi because this is the only time where we can attend the mass as a family despite our busy schedules.

We at Subic Shutter Club (a group of photographers in Subic-Olongapo- www.subicshutterclub.com) is on the process of planning and prep for the forth coming "Patubig para sa Timak" we will be installing water pipe line from the water source down up to the hills of Sitio Timak. Sitio TImak is composed of 72 family farmer settlers, and mainly water was their top most priority. Instead of me and my kids and the boyfriend will spend out of town for the holidays, we will donate it to the project. I will be bringing the kids with me and I am so excited for my kids for this activity that they will be experiencing.

  32. As a yearly tradition, my family and I will rummage our respective closets for old clothes and even bags and shoes. Then my siblings and I will sort them out and place them in boxes with Christmas cards. Then my Papa will bring those boxes to his office and give them to “parking boys” at the Quezon City Hall, who are loyally guarding the designated parking lots. My Papa had instilled to us the idea of sharing our blessings to less fortunate people. We’ve been doing that for a decade now and it’s true that sharing your blessings gives you a warm, fuzzy feeling inside. It somehow makes us smile whenever we see those parking guys wearing Papa’s old office clothes. Once, this parking guy even said that his wife loves the pair of red shoes that she wears it for nine-day duration of simbang gabi. It somehow brought tears to my eyes; I can’t believe that my old pair of shoes made someone’s Christmas happy! It's such an unexplainable feeling to spread love and joy every Christmas! =)

Like what I normally do for Christmas since 2006..together with my friends...is that we go to a chosen charity house and give gifts, toys and host a simple christmas party for the less fortunate children. That is how I spread love, joy and blessings. It is so much fun that intend to keep it doing not only this coming Christmas but for more Christmas that is to come.
